Our Approach

  • At 360 Climate Institutes, we know sustainability is key so we have a smart approach

  • Our approach is edible greens approach: we focus on fruit trees and edible greens because they:

    • They take care of the environment and climate change

    • They Provide nutrition for a healthy working Nation

    • They  are a source of economic empowerment as a source of income, and sustainability

    • Discourage logging – no one wants to cut a fruit tree once it starts bearing fruits

  • For afforestation, conservation and reclamation programs, we employ a dual approach of planting high carbon absorbing forest trees and edible trees

Environmental Stewardship & Climate Change

  • Indifference and lack of deliberate coordinated and informed approach and participation by the youth and community at large in the climate change agenda

  • Youth often left out: attitude that the agenda is too complicated and left to high level boardroom/ workshops forums

  • Lack of understanding and appreciation of the impact of environmental degradation and climate change on all humans/ animals/habitats and everything irrespective of status

  • Poor culture and practices leading to degradation of environment, wastage of resources and general apathy

360 Climate Institutes Change approach

  • Demystification   and deliberate culture inculcation among   the youth-   placing them on the driving seat. Using   innovative   technology. With our 360 Green App is a   complete game changer and will draw the young people   to sit on the climate change App and play a pivotal role   through Gaming,   Animations etc.

  • Poor Culture of Tree Planting – no accountability system to nurture and monitor to maturity – big fuss on tree planting events then abandonment and   drying up; repeat the same over and over with no results .

  • 360 Green App coupled with organized groups and institutions with   ‘adopt & nurture a tree’ culture  approach are both a game changer and   sure bet.

Breaking Barriers to Youth Empowerment

At 360 Climate Institutes we break barriers to youth empowerment:

  • We offer practical and relevant skills to empower the youth to earn a living and live decent lives;

  • We break barriers that prevent youth from accessing skills i.e

    • We do not charge fees for any of the skills we offer: all that we require is all trainees provide their own learning tools/ materials and adhere to the Institute’s strict code of conduct

    • We do not require minimum academic requirements especially for technical skills: we focus on practical/ field exposure 70% and theory 30%. Tuition is offered in language students can understand.
